At last week's visit to the doctor, the stats confirmed what my growing biceps have known for weeks. Our "little one" is no longer quite so little. Weighing in at a hefty 18 pounds and 27 inches long, Justin is a 95th percentiler. That's right. Only about five out of 100 four-month-olds are bigger than our boy. (And one of them just happens to be in our Mommies Group! Ha!)
Along with his weight, Justin has gained a number of other accomplishments this summer. He smiles, coos, giggles and stares. Yes, he can beat almost anyone in a staring contest. For better or worse, nothin' gets past this kid.
We just recently invested in a Bumbo (thank you, Craigslist!) and well, Justin is a huge fan. As mentioned earlier, this kid is alert. If he isn't part of the social scene, he isn't wearing his happy face. This blessed baby gear makes sitting (with assistance) a can-do. Justin's happy. Mom's happy. All is well.

He is such a cutie! I'm so glad you invested in one of those thingy aboppers. You can tell that he totally likes sitting up checking out the scenery:) Life is going to be quite exciting with that little guy!
