Thanksgiving has come and gone and I forgot to take pictures. No doubt Mike has a few on his iPhone, but I completely spaced the whole camera thing. Probably because I was enjoying time with family! Our trip out to Utah and visit with family and friends was a blessing in and of itself -- the Thanksgiving dinner (amazing, Vickie + Carl!), the accommodations (thanks, Sarah + Kenny!), the generous babysitting (Mom + Hailey, you rock!), even the sunny weather!
We returned home from our trip itching to decorate for Christmas. Last Saturday we loaded up and drove to Half Moon Bay to choose and cut our Christmas tree. This year's experience was a little different than years past in that we had the babes in tow. Thanks to our all-terrain stroller, Mike's practical hiking shoes and the tripod for our camera, we were able to navigate the acres of Christmas tree farm, find our perfect tree and attempt a family picture to boot! Thankfully Justin is a pretty good-natured kid and didn't seem to mind all of the jostling. The picture part however, was more of a challenge since he was far more interested in inspecting and ingesting the tree than smiling for the camera. Typical seven month old though, eh? :)

Great Pics! Looks like a great place to get a tree too... good choice:) Can't wait to see you guys soon
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love that you guys cut it down yourselves. Also, Mike is the only person I know who would wear a blazer to an activity that requires him to get in the dirt and use a saw. You're a classy family!
ReplyDeleteCan we be next-door neighbors someday? I just love you guys! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Justin is looking more older each time I see him! I love my "Little Dill". Can't wait to see you guys soon!!
