It's Official!

We are now bloggers!! Yep. You heard right. Trailing years behind many of our family and friends, it took marriage to motivate us to join the world of cyber-journalists. While we unequivocally enjoy being married, we - okay, Candace - has had some reservations about this blogging business. The first involves our readers' expectations. The second has to do with privacy. So, to address those concerns from the start ... lest you expect daily posts and lengthy narratives, know that our schedules, and - let's be honest - our dedication to journal-keeping, limit us considerably. With regards to privacy, family and friends are ALWAYS welcome, but our blog will soon be "private" to encourage face-to-face introductions prior to cyber-stalking. ;)

That said ... we can't believe how quickly the time has gone! Married on June 20th, we have now been "The Robertsons" for over two months. During our short time as newly weds, we have honeymooned in the Grand Cayman Islands, settled into our apartment in San Fran, visited with family at the annual Phillips reunion, celebrated our niece's baby blessing, sent our brother off on an LDS mission, interviewed for future employment two dozen+ times, attended two reception/open house events and traveled over 5000 miles. Whew! We've also braved and survived outlandish adventures including a four-hour rendezvous at the San Francisco DMV (wherein we became acquainted with a generous sampling of SF's "Most Random") and a break-in/burglary to our trusty RAV4 (no worries, Ravina bounced back just fine!). Needless to say, we've enjoyed quite an exciting married life thus far. And however cheesy and absolutely cliche, it must be said; we are inexpressibly grateful to have been guided to each other and to be the best of friends. So bring on the adventures! Our love and appreciation to family and friends who have shared in our wedding celebrations and provide such tremendous support!
